We did it!! Josh and I finally tied the knot and the whole day flew by, just like everyone said it would. Months and months of planning culminated in the most wonderful wedding day we could have possibly imagined. Seventy five of our close family and friends joined us at 632 on Hudson here in NYC to eat, drink, and celebrate as we were married by our dear friend and brother-from-another-mother, David Walter. The gorgeous venue was completed with delicious catering by The Cleaver Co. I cannot even begin to thank the amazing Emily Stengel for being an organized and available coordinator. For those of you who have ever tried to plan a wedding or the like, you know how essential it is to get timely replies to emails and phone calls. Once we booked The Cleaver Co., Emily took over and arranged all the set-up and break-down times with our other vendors for us. What a huge relief!! Everything was spot-on, from the food and drinks to the staff's hospitality. Our DJ, Ari, from Beat Train Productions rocked the house! We had jazz standards and indie rock during the first half of the evening and then awesome dance jams for the rest of the fête. The beautiful flowers were provided by Liza at Peartree Flowers. The bouquet, the boutonnieres, and, especially, the amazing leafy, eucalyptus garland that was hung from the first floor banister were all exactly what I had envisioned. To top it off, Ryan & Heidi Studio took the most amazing photos. I am still so thrilled and lucky to have found this amazing couple. The engagement photos were amazing and I can't wait to see the rest of the wedding photos! Here are the photos from the preview on Ryan and Heidi's blog and, at the bottom, our favorite photo thus far. Our friend, Emily, managed to capture one of the most special moments of the ceremony; Josh and I reaching out to David while tearily starting the ceremony. It's a moment we'll remember and cherish forever!
